Register Now for the 2008 East Coast Winter Retreat!!
Greetings all you awesome YJA-ers,
The time as finally come! It’s finally here! Information about the 2008 NE Winter Retreat is finally here! There has been quite a buzz inquiring about this year’s retreat and fret not, we will indeed have a 2nd Annual Winter Retreat in the Poconos this year. It will be during President’s Day Weekend - Feb. 16, 17, and 18. It will also be at the same place we had it last year since that is the closest location to a snow tubing, skiing, and snowboarding. Due to last year’s Retreat being SUCH A SUCCESS - thanks to all those who came and the YJA Board Members who organized it - that this year, we will be increasing our capacity to more folks!
As always, a YJA Winter Retreat wouldn’t be meaningful without some innovative, interactive, and thought-provoking sessions. This year’s Retreat will be packed with them! There will be a session led by a non-profit call WherePeaceLives.org, a session by Chintan Shah and members of the Jain Center of America from NY, as well as one tag teamed by Dhrumil Purohit and Anthony Anderson. While we’d LOVE to tell you more about them, we don’t want to spoil all the fun!
If you came last year or know of someone who came last year, then you know that this is an event not to be missed! If you’re not from the area or haven’t attended a YJA event before, then this is the event for you to come to! The majority of folks who came last year were newbies to the YJA experience. We also had folks coming from as far south as Tennessee and as far north as New Hampshire. We even had a handful of folks who had just recently come from India. So whether this is your first time and you are looking to meet awesome Jains in your area or you’re coming to meet up with old friends, you will have a blast regardless!

The Tag Team of Parth Savla and Sonam Sheth
