Your registration fee includes accommodations, meals and access to all on-site activities for the 3-day event. Also included is a retreat t-shirt!
Registration fees begin at $65 for all participants. All registration phases end at 11:59 PM CST on the date listed. Registration closes on 3/5 at 11:59 PM CST.
|1/28 - 2/19||Phase 1||$65|
|2/20 - 3/5||Phase 2||$75|
|1/28 - 3/5||Unsubsidized||$80|
To provide each attendee with hotel accommodations, meals, and the opportunity to attend sessions and social events, the actual total cost per person is well over the registration cost. YJA works very hard in fundraising during the year to help subsidize each attendee's cost of attendance. We would greatly appreciate it if you could help YJA by choosing the "Unsubsidized" pricing option at the time of payment. This would help us raise the money we need to ensure YJA remains affordable for as many potential attendees as possible.
For those that would like to attend but are in need of financial assistance, please download this Financial Assistance Form, fill it out, and email it to the YJA Co-Chairs at firstname.lastname@example.org. Financial assistance is limited and will be awarded on a first-come first-served basis until our allocation is exhausted.
We are planning to arrange carpooling to and from the venue from different areas in the Southeast region. Please let us know where you are coming from on the google form that you receive in the confirmation email, and we will help you organize your transportation if you can't drive. Email Neehaar Gandhi at email@example.com if you have any questions.
This is the Southeast Region Annual Retreat. The retreat is an intimate environment where attendees will have an opportunity to learn about Jain values, meet old friends, and meet new ones. YJA wants to ensure that everyone has a great time.
There are a few basic but important ground rules that all attendees are expected to follow:
- Please be respectful of other attendees in your speech and actions. Any inappropriate comments or language twill not be tolerated.
- There is a strict policy against alcohol consumption.
- Those who are reported to have acted inappropriately or to have significantly impacted others' retreat experiences in a negative way will be subject to consequences at the discretion of the Regional Coordinator and other members of YJA Board present at the retreat.
- All attendees will read and sign the appropriate liability form before the start of the retreat.
We want to state the boundaries of the event clearly to ensure that everyone learns, grows, is respected, and has fun! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Most sessions will be between 60 and 90 minutes long. There will be ample time in between sessions for a snack and restroom breaks.
To ensure attendee safety, we ask everyone to remain on the premises for the duration of the retreat unless authorized to do so by the YJA Executive Board. Please contact email@example.com with any questions.
Well, it is March and weather may be unpredictable, so don’t forget your sweaters and pants! Keep in mind that we’ll be doing yoga, hiking, and running around, so bring comfortable shoes and clothing for these activities. Otherwise, it’s up to you, but just remember to keep your clothes appropriate for a YJA retreat.
The registration cost includes lodging, food, educational materials, and souvenirs. The cost does not cover transportation.
You won't be needing any money at the retreat itself, but we recommend bringing money for gas, and a small amount of spending cash for food on the way to the retreat if you would like.
There will not be any doctors on site, but safety is a priority and basic first aid supplies will be available. If anything goes wrong, medical attention is only a few minutes away.
If we receive your cancellation while the registration period for the retreat is still open (until March 5th, 2017), you will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee. After March 5th, refunds will only be granted on a case-by-case basis under extremely extenuating circumstances. If you wish to cancel your registration or have questions about the retreat, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
